The Christmas Experience has been running for over ten years and continues to grow. In 2024, more than 2,000 children came to meet nativity characters and see the story of Jesus’ birth brought to life.

Every child receives a craft and a gift pack with the Bible story booklet, a church carol service invite, and a tasty treat! Costs for the crafts, gift packs, maintainance and transportation of scenery (excluding staffing costs) already exceed £2,500 each year.

This year, we’re expanding from 3 to 5 venues, hoping to welcome over 2,500 children. To do this, we need a second set of scenery, props, and costumes – a one-off investment to help us grow long-term.

We charge just £3.75 per child, but to ensure access to all, we offer schools 50% off their first visit and £1 places for children on Pupil Premium. Our Easter Experience 2025 gave over 1,000 subsidised places – a great impact, but a big cost.
