Freddy’s Next Steps

Freddy comes to a Pathway lunch club. When school choir clashed with club one week, Freddy was the only one joining me and the worker from the local church. We asked if he’d prefer to skip this week or just play a game, but he was super keen to stay and said the Bible story was his favourite part.

We got to tell him the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead.

“Does that mean that if I believe in him, Jesus can give me everlasting life?” he asked.

Hallelujah!

He didn’t have a Bible at home, so we offered him one (which he was very happy about) and encouraged him to keep coming along. What an amazing opportunity to share the gospel with him – helping him take his next steps towards Jesus.
