School assemblies are an ideal way of presenting Bible stories to children.

Pathway offers to visit a school each half term to present an assembly with a new Bible story each time. The assemblies aim to be fun, often including: drama, quizzes, music, stories and bold visual aids. Themes have included ‘from Prison to the Palace – Josephs amazing day’ and ‘Some like it hot!’ looking at the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace.

Pathway only visits schools where the team is invited. Assemblies are always well received by both pupils and teaching staff, often leading to further Pathway involvement in schools. As our assemblies fulfill all the major criteria for collective worship in schools, we are frequently asked to come and take an assembly when a school is being inspected by OFSTED.
