What opportunities does the Ministry Training Course offer?
The Ministry Training Course is divided into 3 principle areas:
1. Schools Ministry
You will be given opportunity to…..
- Co-lead school assemblies
- Help lead school lessons
- Be a leader at lunch-time and after school clubs
2. Church Placement
You will be given opportunity to…..
- Spend a day a week involved in the life & ministry of the church
- Work alongside the church children's leadership team
- Develop other ministry giftings outside of children's ministry
3. Theological and Management Training Programme
You will be given opportunity to…..
- Attend the morning theology training course at the St Paul’s Theological Centre, Hoy Trinity Brompton
- Attend practical self management training seminars.
What does Pathway provide?
Training in children’s ministry working alongside a committed team of children’s workers.
- A reasonable weekly allowance.
-Travelling expenses.
- At least four weeks holiday during a year.
-An opportunity to discover the biblical basis of children’s ministry.
What does a placement church provide?
-Appropriate food and accommodation for the student.
-The opportunity to be part of the Church leadership team.
-Appropriate line management and supervision.
What will it cost me?
The cost of working with Pathway for a year is £2,500. This can be paid in either a lump sum or termly instalments. This covers all costs for the year.
One or two years?
Our experience has shown us that some people are better developed when working with us for a longer period of time. Our two year training course is usually offered following discussion with both the trainee and their placement church.
